President's Award for Educational Excellence
Purpose and Requirements
The purpose of the President's Award for Educational Excellence is to recognize and reward educational academic success in the classroom and school. To be eligible for the President's Award for Educational Excellence, students at each award level (elementary, middle, or high school) must meet the following requirements:
  • Students are to earn a grade point average of 90 or better on a 100-point scale
    • This only includes grades awarded at that level up through the fall semester of the existing grade
  • Advanced placement in either math or English language arts on the Palmetto Achievement Challenge Test
  • Recommendation from a teacher plus one other staff member
