Attendance
Regular, punctual attendance is extremely vital to the education of all students. Students must be in homeroom at 8:15 am. Any student who arrives at school after 8:15 am must report to the office with the parent or adult who brought them to school to sign in.

Tardy students will not be admitted to class without a tardy slip from the office. South Carolina Attendance Law states that a student must be in attendance 170 days of the school year to receive credit.

Arrivals
Classes will begin at 8:15 am. For those students who walk or ride with parents, we ask that they arrive at school no earlier than 7:30 am. Adult supervision will begin at that time. Buses will unload at 7:40 am in the cafeteria. All students should report to the cafeteria if they arrive before 7:45 am. All students should report to their homerooms upon arrival if it is after 7:45 am.

Dismissals
Students will be dismissed at 3:00 pm. Buses will load immediately at the loop beside the cafeteria. All walking and riding students will be dismissed at the front of the school. Car-riding students should wait in the appropriate area to be picked up in the front of the school.

Visitors
For the safety of our students, all visitors must sign in and receive a sticker at the main office.

Dress Code
While it is not our intention to overrule parental judgment in the attire of students, we do feel that certain minimal regulations are in the best interest of the educational program. The Chesterfield County School District dress code for students will be enforced. Students are encouraged to dress comfortably but appropriately at all times.
