Cheraw High School Goals
At Cheraw High School, we are constantly striving to improve all aspects of our school. These efforts must be strategic, focused, and monitored. As we look at our data and consider the 2012 – 2013 school year, there are a number of challenges and opportunities available to our school. However, with a positive attitude and attention to the details, we will make progress for the new school year. For this year, we are focusing on four goals. These goals are listed below and help guide our focus on student achievement.
The percentage of students passing both parts of the HSAP on the first attempt will increase from 72 percent in 2012 to 80 percent in 2013.
The percentage of students passing both parts of the HSAP by the end of high school will increase from 91.2% in 2011 to 95% in 2013.
The overall percentage of students passing end-of-course exams will increase from 69.2% in 2012 to 79.2% in 2013.
The percentage of students graduating in 4 years or less will increase from 75% in 2012 to 85% in 2013.
